About IITTNiF
India’s Technology Innovation Hub advancing Positioning & Precision Technologies through research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaborations.
IIT Tirupati Navavishkar I Hub Foundation, IITTNiF, is a Section 8 not for profit company established under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical Systems, an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Anchored at the Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati, IITTNiF serves as a national platform that brings together academic expertise, industry capabilities, entrepreneurial talent, government priorities, and societal needs. Its role is to create pathways that move promising ideas from research and innovation towards practical solutions, scalable technologies, and meaningful impact.
Through this integrated ecosystem, IITTNiF supports the complete journey from knowledge creation and technology development to validation, entrepreneurship, deployment, and wider adoption. The Hub also focuses on strengthening the capabilities of researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and professionals to build a sustained pipeline of technology driven solutions for India.
India’s future depends upon its ability to develop indigenous technologies that strengthen national capabilities, improve decision-making, enhance productivity, and create globally competitive innovation ecosystems.
Recognising this vision, the Government of India launched the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) to establish Technology Innovation Hubs across the country. These hubs are designed to accelerate translational research, technology development, entrepreneurship, and capacity building in strategically important technology domains.
IITTNiF was established to lead India’s efforts in Positioning & Precision Technologies by creating an integrated ecosystem where research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and human resource development converge to develop technologies that serve society, strengthen national resilience, and support economic growth.
